Even Gary Neville agrees, sort of.

6 of one? Nah, just a 2 footer that goes unpunished.
Fall over before contact? PENALTY - Either way, soft

One camera captured Mark Halsey during the game.

Anyway, enough of my ranting. Congrats to Spurs for the win and Arsenal for grabbing a point against City. This month will come down to the last game I can feel it.

  1. No question Liverpool were robbed.

    1. I've watched the Shelvey red card, and clearly they both could have been sent off for that challenge on each other... you could argue that Shelvey's was the less malicious one in fact.

Also, the FA needs to man up and punish players post mortem for diving... So, the ref got it wrong and United won the game... let it stand. Ban Valencia for 5 games for diving or something of that effect. They do something like that and guaranteed diving will dry up quickly in the league. They could even write it off as protecting the refs... they're always so paranoid of contradicting the refs... they could say they're helping the refs by applying such strict post game punishments for fooling their refs.

  2. I thought they should have either awarded double yellow, or ignored it (given that both players were studs up).

The penalty was a terrible call in a game that was thoroughly dominated by Liverpool.

  3. Few watched Tottenham/QPR so the fact that QPR was clearly the better team in the first half, and held their own reasonably well in the second has been glossed over. All is not at all well at WHL.

    1. Oh, I noticed... I was sort of happy that they were able to score me a "perfect" prediction and keep me ahead of Allen for the month... but it was certainly by the skin of their teeth...
